  1. Run Escaped Fae Launcher Setup.exe. Windows SmartScreen shows "unknown publisher" once: choose More info, then Run anyway. It installs for your Windows account only and needs no administrator rights.
  2. Open Escaped Fae Launcher from the Start menu or the desktop shortcut. It updates itself from then on.
  3. It checks for updates as it opens. Press Update — the first one downloads the game (about 150 MB) — and when the button turns into Play, press that.

To remove it, use Settings › Apps › Installed apps › Escaped Fae Launcher › Uninstall.

  1. Open Escaped Fae Launcher.dmg and drag Escaped Fae Launcher onto the Applications folder beside it. Then eject the disk image.
  2. The first time, open it from Applications by right-clicking it and choosing Open, then Open again: macOS asks because the app is not notarized. It updates itself from then on.
  3. It checks for updates as it opens. Press Update — the first one downloads the game (about 200 MB) — and when the button turns into Play, press that.

To remove it, drag Escaped Fae Launcher from Applications to the Trash.
